I have learned to edit down to 140 characters unless my brain takes over my hands then I blog and send the Tweet readers and Facebook friends here to get the whole story! It has really helped to edit my advertising too. Now I can write really effective real estate ads in almost no words or less! Since it is hard to stay in the 140 character mode I have started a system of creating up to 10 posts at a time. Today's was going to be simple Give to get. Sounds a lot like the golden rule. I took an affordable housing class in Dallas this morning towards the designation and "Holy cow" my head is overloaded with all of the ways to do this. There are so many ways out there that we could be helping folks buy a home! Need to get the word to the masses. Bond programs, Grants, low low interest loans. There will never, not in my lifetime, anyway be a better time to buy a home. The IRS knows our social security numbers don't give them out over the phone even if someone calls talking about the Bush refunds! and the IRS.This is identity theft that can be easily avoided. Of the top ten cities in the U.S two of the top ten are in Texas and both are seeing an INCREASE in home values! What are you saying when someone asks how is the market? If you look at the top ten most expensive places for a renter to live in this country, you will notice that North Texas is not on that list. Why do rental rates go up? It's called scarcity. When the number of rental units drop, the cost of renting a home goes up! Simple supply and demand. So, if the cost of renting an apartment is still low (on the average) as it is in North Texas, then there is a good reason for that-we still have an abundance of places to rent. I am adding to mine daily it seems: I will schedule my Buyer seminars 3 at a time so that I can offer options when people tell me they can't make the first date. (No more excuses-when I can solve it!) I am researching and plan to buy a video camera and will be adding longer "Live" looking updates to my website. It will probably be a Sony, unless something serious makes me change my mind-I have been using their digital cameras for over 5 years and love them. Don't Forget-Turn the Clocks back on Saturday night 1 hour so that when you rise without benefit of an alarm clock on Sunday morning it will be earlier than you think. It will take me maybe two days from Sunday to be unhappy about the time change when I am realizing that it is now earlier than I think. Frankly, I prefer the Fall time change to turn my clock back and let my family try to sleep in an extra hour is a pretty good idea about now.
