Reflections… by a home inspector Wenatchee and Chelan Real Estate Inspection ServicesSometime when you are down in the depths of a crawlspace you get the chance to really reflect on what your job is and why. On this home inspection I had such an opportunity.So there I am lying by the reflection pool, gazing out to the abyss of crawlspace, peering at the piers that have been so conveniently improperly installed. Mental thought… Rule number one as I reflect, if you see the holes it’s a no go. CMU (Concrete masonry units) are always to be installed with the cavities … (4 comments)
