There is a new report out by Realtor.com that indicates that the inventory for homes for sale is down by over 20% as compared to last year. Please note that the operative work is "inventory". In my opinion, this may serve well for Sellers going ahead. Why? Because if there is less inventory for a buyer to choose from, this could lead to increase in demand for a particular home and/or location. Of course, demand heavily relies upon factors remaining favorable for buyers which includes appealing interest rates.
