Recently I went with my sister over to our old town to see a piece of property that had just come on the market. It seems that she had fallen "in love" with the house 30 years ago and like any unrequited lover had pined for it from afar, tucking her longing for it away until one day she literally ran across it for sale. In today’s market you need all the help you can get.   Add the stress of a client who has their heart set on finding the perfect historic property.   One that they have envisioned themselves in, perhaps for years, and when you, as their agent, finally find the elusive “perfect” home, their excitement turns to downed spirits, to gloom and then outright panic as they tour this antiquated “dream home”.
