Irvine CA real estate had 190 homes listed for sale at of March 10, 2013 - (see March 10 article at Irvine CA Home Selling and Real Estate Trends). 
After not having enough homes listed to satisfy buyers for the past year, Irvine real estate now turns toward balance and has 497 homes listed for sale as of today - July 13, 2013.

 
So Irvine CA has seen a home listing numbers jump by 317 homes - an increase of 176 percent for the 4 months from March 10 to July 13, 2013.

Irvine CA real estate - home resale market - got faster by 40 percent in a year - according to Steven Thomas at www.ReportsOnHousing.com.  
As of March 15, 2012, Irvine had 538 listed in brokers' MLS multiple listing service system. 
Irvine then had 261 new deals opened in the past 30 days.  According to Thomas, Irvine had "market time" - months it would take to sell all inventory at that pace of new escrows - of 2.06 months vs. 3.44 months seen one year earlier.

Average sold price was $1,062,500, and average time on market was 104 days.

IRVINE at South Orange County housing market for November 2010 showed home resales down 8.9% as compared with same time last year November 2009. 
157 IRVINE homes were sold during November 2010.
23 of those or 14.6% homes sold were short sales.
14 or 8.9% of those sold were REO lender owned.
Average sold price for these 157 homes was $760,575 (which is up from November 2009).  

171 Irvine homes were sold last year during November 2009, and average price for those sold homes was $666,491.

Irvine at South Orange County housing market for October 2010 shows home resales down 44.3% as compared with same time last year.
 
118 Irvine homes were sold during October 2010.
Average sold price was $603,805, which was $335 per square foot interior. 
Average time on market for those sold homes was 93 days.
 
 
212 Irvine homes were sold last year during October 2009.
Average price for those sold homes was $657,228, which was $365 per square foot interior.
The drop in home resales volume from October 2009 to 2010 appears to be dramatic.

Irvine, California, housing market had 821 Irvine homes were listed for sale at the end of July, 2010.  That's up from the 720 listed as of he end of June and lots more than any time during the past six months. 
155 of those listed were short sales (18.9% of market), and 33 were bank owned after foreclosure (4% of market).
 
165 Irvine homes were sold during July, 2010.
13 of those sold were bank owned REO(7.8% of solds).
37 of those sold were short sales (22.4%) of solds.
198 Irvine homes were sold in June 2010, so July numbers are down.
