The following tables show how Lincoln County faired over the past year in this tumultuous financial market. Economists, like doctors, have voiced different views on … (0 comments)

Market Index - Q4-07
On a scale of 1 - 5 (1 being a Buyer's Market and 5 being a Seller's Market), the current market index is a 2.
Labor Market:
During the first two months of this quarter approx. 727 jobs were added to Lincoln County payrolls. The average monthly unemployment rate fell from 5.4% to 5.2% in October and November. The job situation in Lincoln County still remains a strong factor and should continue to increase the demand for housing. With the unemployment rate holding at 5% coupled with historically … (0 comments)
