I heard a really funny story on CNN last week. It seems that one young woman was less than enthusiastic about the prospect of her 10 year high school reunion. Instead of just skipping it, like the rest of us would, she decided to 'mess with' her former classmates a little bit. A comedian writer by trade, this young woman took it on as a project. She hired a burlesque dancer to stand in for her. Last weekend my sister-in-law called to tell me that my brother did not want to go to their 20 year reunion. They were high school sweethearts. She, however, had been long making plans with friends and was very excited about the prospect of catching up with old high school buddies.

We have friends who hold an almost annual adult costume party. It is a pretty clever bunch of folks, so the pressure is always on to be creative. Technology gets a bad rap...we are always being told that we are TOO connected or not connected enough. I feel like I have a pretty healthy attitude toward technology and how it can enhance my business and my life, and I feel like my experience today is a good example.
