Somewhere along the way, I feel like it became my mission in life to win people over to using--and believing in the value of--Real Estate Agents. Luckily, for someone with this mission in life, there is an easy way to get your positive reinforcement; all you have to do is take on a skeptical client and win them over with your hard work, and the rewards begin to roll in! We all know them; the friends and family who continue to see the half-empty glass instead of the one that we see that is half-full. I confess that sometimes they drag me down. Luckily, I have made a habit of looking for the good in any situation, and it usually doesn't take me long to leave their 'issues' behind and move on in a way that lets me be happy. I have never understood why people, with no medically defined issues, would make the choice to be negative and unhappy--and it is a choice. positive: Too much Negativity!

In response to my own negative postings, I decided it is time to talk about some positives in the real estate market. Not generally a negative person, I think that there are some good (better) things going on: 1) I actually heard 2 financial specialists talk positively about the real estate market this morning, on the Early Show and on Good Morning America. They said it was a geat time to buy! 2) My listing clients understand how difficult marketing their homes can be in this market and are extremely responsive to my suggestions and open to discussing offers. 3) This one is personal, … (4 comments)
