With a cup of coffee in hand, I strolled last week down to the dock at South Lakes Village Center. I took these photos because they reflect how peaceful being by the lake feels--even on a hot and humid day. south lakes: A Beautiful Weekend in Reston!

This weekend was one of those picture-perfect weekeends. Low temperatures, low humidity, bright blue skies and not a jam-packed calendar.I took advantage of the unusually appointment-free weekend to enjoy some of my favorite things about Reston.
