appreciation: A Note Of Appreciation - 10/24/22 10:11 AM
Sharing a note of appreciation from earlier in the year. Note:
Not all transactions are as smooth as silk. This letter proves the point.

'March 13, 2022
In July 2021, my house was officially listed for sale. I chose a company based on ads I had heard, not from anyone who had used these realtors (my first mistake). Nevertheless, I was hopeful for a fast sale with the hot real estate market. After a while, with lackluster effort on the agent's part and no hint of a deal, I decided to switch agents.

A friend recommended Margaret Rome. She came highly recommended, and I … (15 comments)

appreciation: A Hand-Delivered Thank You - 06/28/22 10:44 AM

Hand-delivered, it doesn't get any better!

It's been a couple of years since I sold a home for Myra; I affectionately call her my "Admyra." She makes me feel so special, like when she hand-delivered this beautiful poem along with flowers. Myra did not want to disturb me, so she left them on my front porch and texted me.
I have been trying to think of a way to show my appreciation for this work of art which is so much more than a thank you note. It had folds upon folds and so many verses.
If you read it, you will understand the … (22 comments)

appreciation: Appreciation Makes My World Go Around - 11/24/21 04:44 PM

There is so much to say about appreciation and how it makes my world go around.
How much can one be thankful for? The answer is unlimited.
Every day is a time to feel gratitude; look around to see who gets me through the days, weeks, months, and years, so I don't do it alone. Too many to count, but here is a partial list:
my photographer, webmaster, computer tech,  marketing, bookkeeper, attorney, accountant, mechanic, hairstylist, and radio producer.  And others, like appraisers, contractors, inspectors, medical professionals, and other personal services, keep my business running and my life better.
There are so many … (15 comments)

appreciation: He Margaret Rome'd Me - 01/24/19 07:09 AM

This month's challenge has been about giving kudos to those you admire. This morning I received a video text from a friend of 28 years.

His name is Jay McHugh and even though I  know that text was sent to 100s maybe 1000s of people, I watched and I responded:
"What a great video and inspiring message!... I would love to talk to you.  The ducks are motivators."
That last line you will only understand if you listened to Jay's message.

Within the hour, Jay called and 47 minutes later this amazing member shared his pearls of wisdom. He Margaret Rome'd me.  He is so passionate … (14 comments)

appreciation: This Is What Real Estate Is All About - 04/29/16 01:11 PM
Just received this letter from a very special seller.
No photos, no cute images because this letter stands on its own.

"You can say that it’s just a coincidence that people sometimes meet and connect, or you can say that their meeting each other was meant to be and that there was a greater hand in bringing them together. I tend to believe in the latter, and my personal story in meeting Margaret Rome is why I believe this.
In the early 1990s I suddenly found myself a single parent with two children under 10 years old and a big house I could … (11 comments)

appreciation: Sticks And Bricks Is Not What Real Estate Is About - 04/15/16 01:48 PM
 The Clubhouse was settled today!
6711 Park Heights Ave
#312

What a beautiful settlement.
This  family was able to show love, respect and appreciation for each other.

This is evidence that real estate is not just about sticks and bricks. It is about the people, the dreams and their hopes.
I am so proud to be a part of making it happen.
Thank you to my kind sellers, the entire buyer's family, the lender and the title company.
It takes a team that wants to make it work.
This is what real estate is all about!
