I am looking forward to this Tuesday's Zoom meeting when Bill, Cyndi, and I talk about real estate and radio.
Thanks to George Souto, a great job announcing the weekly presentations, Eileen Burns for moderating, Craig Daniels for the graphics, and Debe Maxwell, CRS, who, week after week, hosts the meetings.

ar zoom: You Will Not Hear "I'm Too Busy"

The AR members came through again. What a caring, sharing, fantastic group. Over the past two years, we have had a Zoom meeting or speaker each week on Tuesdays. Yep, we have yet to miss one! As said, the show must go on. A dedicated group of very busy and reliable guys and gals have worked to keep it together. Sometimes, we had a cancellation or no planned speaker until the last minute. This group still made it happen.
And then we did a September challenge asking for suggestions.

We have such a wonderful group of members that participate every Tuesday.
And It's been going on since Marie Story did the first one In May 2020. We have not missed a week since. If Seri's math is correct, that would be 64 weeks.
So who would you like to hear?
What topic would you like discussed?
On what subject would you like to speak?
Here are a few ideas:
-Panel on retiring from RE
-Home inspections
- Divorce
-Choosing a broker
- Radon, Mold, termite etc-situations that have stopped a sale
-How you salvaged a transaction
-Changing brokerages
-RE while raising kids
-Condos, coops nightmares
-Making a home accessible

Last Tuesday we had the privilege of hearing Sham Reddy CRS present for an hour. Even though I took a lot of notes, Sham was generous enough to allow me to share his outline. We are so fortunate on AR to have this quality of member who is such a professional, so knowledgeable and so so willing to share.

ar zoom: Doing What I Love To Do

What a fantastic experience yesterday when I had the honor and privilege of speaking with forty AR members about what it was like being on live radio.
Talking with this caliber of professionals, seeing their faces, addressing their comments and questions was a natural high for me.
Some people go on vacations, buy luxury items...but this is my passion and what I enjoy.
Speaking on the Tuesday Zoom was different than being on live radio. On Sundays, I am in the studio for an hour, but there are four breaks.

ar zoom: Zoom Tuesday

We have a great group of AR members, and this month's challenge is to share our enthusiasm with the masses.
From our first Zoom, which started with Marie Story back in May 2020, we have continued to have superb speakers every week!
If CE credit were not required, these Zoom meetings would definitely suffice to learn and keep up to date with our industry. So many knowledgeable people are participating every week.
Personally, I have missed only one Tuesday Zoom and one I attended while being on a home inspection...mask and all.
Why?

Of all the ActiveRain contests, November’s is the easiest one. The hardest part is choosing what to share.
We have one member who is writing an appreciation post every day.
Doing a search for 'Thankful' and my name, I came up with ten pages just on ActiveRain.
Let’s list a few things to be thankful for:

-Reading accolades of one member written by another.
-Reading one question by a member and seeing dozens of responses.

One of the quickest ways to put a post up is through a photoblog. What's that you might ask. Maybe you took an exciting photo, seen a funny sign, seen something unique in a listing, perhaps just an Ah-Ha moment. When reading the latest TRS magazine online this morning, I saw this quote:

ar zoom: Remember AR MeetUps?

An AR MeetUp is a bit different in 2020. The name changed, and it is easy for everyone to attend. Today was the second AR ZOOM gathering, and there were eleven of us. Each person participated, talking about our markets, how we are helping each other, and whether we were essential or not. There is no shortage of the way we are coping with our business around the country.
We even came up with next month's AR contest challenge.
