I'm in the process of helping some dear friends and former clients find their next home. They purchased their current home with me 25 years ago. And it is time to right- size.
When I pointed out that one of the properties they were interested in was not air-conditioned, they were not concerned. Said that is not a deal-breaker, we don't need it. Since Baltimore is known for its hot, humid summers, I was surprised.
Their current home does have central air, but they rarely use it. To them, cooling an entire house when only using one or two rooms is a total waste (22 comments)
