After last night's settlement, I had dinner and some special conversation with this buyer. After a transaction, I like to break bread and discuss how everything went. It is a good closure to the purchase and you learn about each other...rather than details of the inspection, the loan process and all the other challenges. As I mentioned in this buyer was happy to go to closing, we talked about life situations, jobs, family, dreams etc. Our conversation led to my daily blogging and I mentioned the August contest hosted by Tammy Lankford. Whenever anyone asks what to do to thank me for a smooth transaction, my answer: put it in writing. But I don't ask for reviews. Last year I got a poor review. It was not even from a buyer or seller. It was from a caller I never met. They contacted me numerous times about a specific property, asking personal questions about the seller's situation making many inquires but not willing to answer any questions about who they were or the reason for the types of questions.
