So Many Books So Little Time ...Baltimore Book Festival
The MidAtlantic Book Publishers Association booth was at the base of the Washington Monument, right in front of the Mt. Vernon Place United Methodist Church with its gingerbread spires.
Anyone who has followed me knows about my Book, Real Estate the Right Rome Way, and my friend and publisher Peg Silloway.

A year ago, I went to the very soggy Baltimore Book Festival and had a great time even though the liquid sunshine was intense. Back then, I was a soon-to-be published author. This year, I have a book Real Estate the Right Rome Way and a book signing slot!
This Friday through Sunday (September 25-27) at Mt. Vernon Place, the 14th annual Baltimore Book Festival will spread out from the 600 block of North Charles Street with books, authors, food, performances, and fun.

Books bring people out every year to Mount Vernon Place in Baltimore at the end of September. On a sunny day, the Baltimore Book Festival will be packed with book lovers from far and wide. On Saturday…well, we had a lot of "liquid sunshine," but the festival took place anyway, and though attendance was down, we were there.
At first, you could have found us (my publisher, Peg Silloway, and me) in the MidAtlantic Book Publishers Association booth, talking with visitors about publishing and handing out information packets on the books published by association members. In every packet was a Real … (9 comments)

The last weekend of September, Baltimore's Mount Vernon Place will host the must-see event for anyone who loves books and music – the 13th annual Baltimore Book Festival. With our Washington Monument overlooking the festival site, and the surrounding parks and cobblestone streets, it's the perfect place to spend the weekend.

baltimore book festival: I Finished My Book! Now To Finish the Rest….

I just reached an important milestone – the chapters of my book are done!
At least for now, that is. My publisher tells me there's lots more to do, but I'm celebrating getting to the point where there's no more writing, just rewriting, for Real Estate the Right Rome Way.
The Type E in me says we're done, and I'm ready to have that finished book in my hand now. Peg says, "Not so fast." Next stop is the professional editor, then designing the pages, creating an index, and finally the printing. Of course, I already have a fantastic cover … (30 comments)
