What a lovely way to spend the day in Baltimore. There was a repeat showing on my 1560 Bluemount Road in Monkton. The buyers wanted to see the cottage. It was my pleasure to walk the NCR trail to show this magnificent setting. The weather was perfect, sunny breezy and low 80's That middle photo below was taken from the river cottage..
And later my friends, also former clients, picked me up and treated me to some great conversation and a delicious meal at Villagio Cafe in Towson. Our waiter Amir, pictured above, was so attentive suggesting special dishes and checking to make sure we (6 comments)
Every month a dozen plus girlfriends get together for dinner. We have known each other for over thirty years. And each month the host picks a favorite restaurant or entertains at home. Anybody want to guess what I do? Tonight was at Liberatore's in Timonium where we had excellent food and superb service. Below are a few photos of our delicious meals.
Twelve of us talked, laughed, shared what's been happening for the past 30 or so days, had a wonderful meal including appetizers, wine and a celebration of Brenda and Alexis' recent birthdays. What a joy getting together with these special women just to share... friendship!
Yesterday we decided to have a bite to eat after a wonderfully busy Sunday. First there was my live radio show at noon and an open house in the same afternoon. We were near my new listing in Hampden and close to one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Trying to figure out what to order... I remembered a post written about McCabes in Baltimore showing some tasteful dishes. Always having my iPad available, I pulled up the blog and shared it with the delightful (35 comments)
baltimore restaurant: We Decided Not to Wait For Valentine's Day in Baltimore

We Decided Not to Wait For Valentine's Day in Baltimore Today is Valentine's Eve and we decided to celebrate a day early. Our plans were to have lunch tomorrow at our favorite Restaurant Tio Pepe in Baltimore, Maryland
But today I had a brilliant idea. Why wait? It is going to be crowded and loud and everyone will be rushed. So we decided it is Valentine's Eve and we called for reservations. What a delight! They even had beautiful Valentine flowers. The owner, Emilino Sanz and our very favorite maitre d', Paco, greeted us with warm handshakes, hugs and a kiss. (16 comments)
Hill of Beans...Delicious at Mr. Chan in Pikesville! Mr. Chan Restaurant is conveniently located at 1000 Reisterstown Rd. very close to Colonial Village
We went in for lunch and while deciding what dish to order, I noticed this Hill of Beans and the staff 'snapping' them. No question that green beans were going to be on my plate shortly. Fresh, absolutely, crispy and delicious, the green beans were combined with tender white chicken in a spicy sauce. The finished dish looked almost as good as it tasted. I saved some for dinner because I knew this picture would make me hungry again!

Baltimore has wonderful restaurants and here is another of our favorites...Sabatino's in Little Italy! We went with friends after an evening at the BSO.. Baltimore Symphony Orchestra There is not a lot of late night dining in Baltimore but this is one... Sabatino's in Little Italy!
Our food was beautiful, fresh, hot and delicious. The first dish on the left is VEAL FRANCESE PARMIGIANA ...Tender medallions of veal lightly breaded, pan browned, topped with homemade tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese... recommended by our waitress and enjoyed by all. The plate on the right is TLH 's all (19 comments)
