buyer agent and seller agent: Buyer's Agent Before Seller's Agent

I have been a listing agent for most of my real estate career. But in today's market, sellers are saying; we will not be listed until we find the right place to move. I need to find their next property to get that listing on the market. That means I am also working as a buyer's agent.
They are concerned about the possibility of two moves. They asked me to look at their home to see what ballpark price they could expect. That's when we discussed the client's motivation. Are they ready to sell? Are they prepared to buy? Many cannot move … (30 comments)
