Our closing today was a delight. Happy seller and overjoyed young family that are first time home owners. The smiles, the love, the excitement of completing a transaction is wonderful to witness.
Smart buyers...they did not tell their children today was the day they actually were getting the house. Their reasoning...what if something goes awry in the last minute...they did not want to disappoint the family.
Everything went well, keys were exchanged, lots of congratulations and another beautiful home is "too late" and "sold!"

When you specialize in unusual homes, it is sometimes interesting what special features you may find.
This home built back in 1953 is one of the largest homes in the Cheswolde/Mt Washington area of Baltimore, Maryland 21209.
It looks like a pretty normal two story brick colonial on a large level corner but look what is just outside the back basement door.

Sunday is a pretty busy day for me...doing a live radio show, answering the phone after the show, scheduled showings and all the wonderful things we, as real estate agents, are involved with.
Took a new listing over the weekend and really wanted to get it into the MLS right away. I choose not to make my properties active until the photography is done.
So late Saturday evening, I sent a text to my professional photographer checking on his availability. Thank goodness he responded via text saying he had late Sunday morning free.
