If Only They Could Talk! What are some of your favorite collections? People collect many things and for many different reasons. I have seen collections of Frogs, owls, miniature chairs, turtles, hippos, giraffes, Pigs with a sense of humor, owls, butterflies, baskets, heart shaped items, and antique baby furniture. There are many reasons for these collections...some collect for pleasure, some collect for investment, some collect to recall history, some collect because it brings a lot of pleasure and a sense of order. That's easy - when there's a grand piano in the middle of it! My daughter, Erica, placed a gleaming grand piano where most people would have a dining room table. This makes sense because she's a professional accompanist and needs a piano for her work. Her dining room is NOT a dining room. It got me thinking.
