This week my special beach house in Chesapeake City was shown by Joe Kowalczk C21 New Millennium. My wonderful sellers changed their plans after Joe called to make an appointment. And the same evening, after his busy day with clients, Joe called to share how much he enjoyed 5131 Breezy Point Rd.... the way it was maintained and how it was a turn-key move-in right-now property. He noticed and commented on so many of the features. Neither one of us had seen a blue granite carved farm sink. When asked for feedback, after showing a property to a prospective buyer, I responded with the following:
"Thank you for allowing me to show this well cared for home. Your sellers were a delight and very welcoming with their note on the door, lights on and waiting outside with the dog. Sorry it is just not the right house for this buyer. Would love to work with you and these sellers. All the best."
This is the note I received from the listing agent.

Feedback After a Property Showing! Thank You June. Yesterday, I received a call from June Piper Brandon asking to show my listing a Charming Home In Parkville..2523 Wentworth Rd 21234 June and I met through one of the ActiveRain Meet-Ups and we have been together for a number of gatherings. She is an outstanding agent in Baltimore.

Yesterday I went out with "Future Sellers". Most of you call these clients buyers. Being a listing agent, there is no way I would encourage a buyer to purchase a property that I would not be proud to list in the future. Hence...I only work with future sellers. I had appointments set up pretty quickly with our Centralized Showing Service. All of them scheduled between 1-3 PM. The second property, I used my Sentri card to obtain the key from the lockbox, opened the door and the husband went in first. He came back coughing and gagging. As a listing agent who makes all of my own appointments it is not that hard to get feedback. I usually have a bit of rapport with the showing agent, giving details how to gain access, pointing out a hidden feature etc. When I do call for feedback.. I ask, 'Did you get in OK? Do you or the buyer have any questions?' If there is interest, it will expressed. I can then touch base with the seller letting them know the house was shown, at what … (27 comments)
