Mark and Endre are hosting this month's challenge and ask us to show our Stars and Stripes flying in honor of three patriotic holidays Memorial Day, Flag Day, and The Fourth of July. There are Flags Flags Everywhere... look around, and these photos were all taken on a wonderfully busy Friday. Living in Baltimore, I thought visiting Fort McHenry was my best bet for any flag photos needed. But then I saw my first 'sort of' flag when I was in Canton for a closing. It was on the railing.

Okay, it's not Palm Beach or LA so you can't expect balmy weather. Baltimore is in the mid-Atlantic and that means we get chilly in January. But it's still a good time to visit, and I'm glad to have a chance to point out some of my favorite things about this city. Thanks to Margaret Harrington for asking! After several days of high heat and creeping humidity, the weather broke and brought warm, cheerful skies. It was absolutely perfect for wandering about the cobblestone streets of Fell's Point. This historic waterfront community, east of Baltimore's Inner Harbor, is sprinkled with shops, restaurants, and lively pubs.
