This morning, I noticed this great big red fire truck outside my home while sitting at my desk. Seeing these wonderfully strong men, I, of course, want to know what was going on, I meet this group only to find out that they are going house to house. They are sweeping the neighborhood calling this Safety Saturday Sweep, even though it is Sunday and Father's Day. Here in Baltimore City, safety is our big concern, and these firefighters are making sure every home has the proper working smoke detectors.
