A question asked by Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor®
"...how are you changing your marketing now that you cannot meet face to face with potential clients?"

And this was my response:
Still connecting with the phone, email, text, blog, and radio show.

 it's on 3 acres!
It has replacement windows, a pellet stove and heated floors in the kitchen, laundry and family room.  There will be more information after the  professional photography and pre listing home inspection.

homeromecom: 100,000 Points a Chocolate Chip Cookie and... - 05/12/07 04:42 AM
.... a Little Help From My Friends

I thought about what I should say for my 100,000-point celebration post. Should I be all humble and grateful? Or jumping up and down giddy? Should it just be another day with Active Rain?

The answer is, as usual, a Type E answer. Keep it simple and get it done! When a Type E needs her car washed, she doesn't mess with hoses and buckets - she sends the car in for service because they always wash it, too. If her checkbook hasn't been balanced in months, she doesn't sit down with a calculator to … (36 comments)

homeromecom: What is Tatiana Up To Now? - 04/05/07 03:00 PM
What is Tatiana Up To Now?
            That's easy.... Making magnificent pottery!!
Look at this magnificent pottery she is creating in her new home and studio in New Mexico. You can see from the photos that Tatiana's work is as beautiful and graceful as ever. A few months ago, she made a major cross-country move to begin a new life in the desert after spending more than 30 years in Maryland. Her former home and studio - a converted historic church - is on the market and looking especially inviting now that spring is here and the plantings she nurtured are starting to bloom … (12 comments)

Unique Historic Property

AUCTION !!!
 September 20, 11am

Once in a while I have the opportunity to take on a unique, listing.  Nothing gets my creative juices flowing faster than a challenge. I listed just such a house and thought it would be fun to follow it through to sale in my blog.At first glance it's a lovely old country church complete with steeple and stained glass. Look again and you see that there is a modern section attached to one side with lots of windows angled to capture the sun. Tatiana purchased this property over 30 years ago and made … (26 comments)

homeromecom: Tuesday February 13th A Pretty Snow in Baltimore - 02/13/07 03:05 AM
What a beautiful way to wake up in Baltimore. Yes it is snowing.... Fresh pretty snow that just covers the shrubs, grass and trees a bit. Just real beauty... leaving the streets clear and safe, at least for the moment. Temperatures are dropping and they are calling for ice.  Appointments have been canceled and I am enjoying the scenery from the inside. … (4 comments)

homeromecom: Again the Phone Rings! - 01/10/07 05:12 AM
Again the phone rings!                          "How much is the house on Taney Rd?" "$259,944" I answer. "How many bedrooms?""Four!" "Is the basement finished?""There is no lower level.""Why is it priced like that?"                                                      "It is being sold 'As Is'""How much work does it need?""Windows, new kitchen, bathrooms, it needs total renovation." Yes, I continue to answer questions about my listings. I answer without asking the caller's name, qualifications, or motives. I give information whenever asked.
You may ask, "Why do you do that?" Agents are trained to get information, like how much you make, and where do you work, and how many times have … (18 comments)

homeromecom: "The Million Dollar Solo Agent" - 09/15/06 01:51 PM
Most of you know that I love to share what I've learned in real estate. Last week the module I recorded for the iSucceed network – "The Million Dollar Solo Agent" – went live on their site and they said nice things about me as an iSucceed Mentor in a press release. They're at it again with more compliments as they make a text-only version available. Now iSucceed members can listen to the session on line or read the text and print it off for reference.I love the way the module turned out, and especially that it ends with the most important … (3 comments)

homeromecom: Google Told Me That I'm a Success - 09/08/06 03:08 AM
Google told me I'm a success.
Actually, a Google Alert pointed me to this terrific article  in RISMedia about my Success Module for iSucceed, "The Million Dollar Solo Agent."
As you all know by now, I'll get up and talk to anyone about real estate. But recording the program was a new experience, and I wasn't completely comfortable during the session. When I give a presentation, I never know for sure what I'll say until it comes out of my mouth. But this time there was a script with specific questions and answers, and following it is harder than I expected. … (5 comments)

homeromecom: Active Rain hits 3000 Real Estate Agents! - 09/07/06 03:47 PM

WE HIT 3000 Real Estate Agents!
It was July 18th when I posted that Active Rain hit 1000 agents.
It seemed like a lot  of activity in such a short time. (8/14, we hit 2000).
And here it is 9/8/06, not quite 2 months later, and we have added another 2000 agents!
This is not counting all the other categories, just Real Estate agents.
Congratulations to all!  This is a wondeful group and I am proud to be a member.
When do you think we will hit 4000?

homeromecom: Active Rain Hits 1000 agents! - 07/18/06 03:54 AM
WOW I just noticed that there are now 1000 real estate agents in Active Rain. This is a wonderful example of networking and bringing people together. I bet it will not take as long to get the next thousand agent signed up. This group is really working and I am enjoying the blogs. Thanks for everyone's input.
