'Clear To Close' Are Meaningful Words!Here are some meaningful words that I like to use. NEXT, WIN= What's Important Now? and I Don't Do Upset!Today's favorite line is Clear to Close. We had our Final Walk-Through and settlement scheduled for Wednesday at 2 PM. Last-minute follow-up with lender and title company for updates... these were not the words I wanted to hear, "We are waiting for a "couple more bits of information from the buyer"! Uh oh.. red flag! Can we close on time?

Yesterday one of my favorite sellers called me, very upset. She wasn't upset with me, or that her fantastic house hasn't sold after several months. It was something that had happened in her life, and because we have become friends, and because she feels she can talk to me - she unloaded.
It immediately reminded me of another day. It was a day when a dear 80-something lady, the mother-in-law of a dear friend of mine, buried her husband. This was a terribly sad day, and she certainly had reason to be upset.
