What a pleasure closing a transaction with such a knowledgeable, kind and competent team of professionals.
Two of these professionals are active ActiveRain members. Please take time to read John's post below on how we got to closing on a contract ratified on October 31st...yep that's Halloween and it closed November 29th!
That's 29 days with the Thanksgiving holiday the prior week.  And this was not cash.
We handled a home inspection, an appraisal and a few bumps that needed smoothing.
Thankful for the entire team, making first-time homebuyers and original sellers very happy.

The sellers were ready, the house immaculate.., the buyers were ready, wired funds were received and the Settlement was to start at 11:30 am.

A call from the title attorney at 7:30 AM with a heads up. “ The electricity is out in our building and it “should” be back on in a couple of hours.”
Those of us in the business know the end of any month is a busy time and close to the end of the year even more so.

The Smile Of A First Time Buyer
The smile of a first time buyer is wonderful. Even though I am a listing agent, once in awhile I take on a special buyer and this week a special buyer went to settlement.
We saw many homes before we found the right one.
Above the buyer is smiling, Margaret Rome is smiling and Jeff Margolies is smiling!
And below Bridget McGee is always smiling.
We found the perfect home, we found the perfect lender ( Mortgage Mama) and we  had a very smooth settlement with Jeffrey Margolies, Esq with RESE.
I love what I do and  will always be a listing agent
