A Grab Bar can Hold Towels but a Towel Bar Cannot Hold Grabs! This is a very good grab bar which can be placed in many different areas. The most popular is the bath room where most accidents occur. No reason why this grab bar could not be used to hang towels..maybe even a magazine. One thing for sure it is sturdy enough for a person to hold onto and, if necessary, lift themselves up. Notice it is screwed into the ceramic tile not glued on.
