snow has begun in baltimore: Deer Visitor, Thanks For Stopping By
- 02/11/21 02:24 PM
Yesterday was a busy and very productive day—multiple appointments, including meeting with two appraisers on my upcoming closings. One was last-minute because we had snow in the forecast. So glad we were able to get the appointments all done. Now the threat of snow does not bother me, because frequently it does not materialize. But yesterday, I was able to get home before the frozen precipitation started.
And it was a beauty waking up! Snowing most of the night, I took these photos this morning, right from my desk.
And a bit later this afternoon, I took a photo of a deer visitor.
This comes as no surprise since this storm has been predicted for days now. This morning after the gym, I stopped at Trader Joe's. They open at 8:00 and I was there before 8:15. There were lines of people and they were already out of milk and eggs.
Our city has already begun shutting down. The National Weather Service issued a Blizzard Warning forecast yesterday and the Governor declared a state of emergency this morning.
The snow began at 2:45 today with predictions of up to two feet along with high winds in the Baltimore area. Note on the weather map (16 comments)
