There was a member who talked about making crossword puzzles and using them for marketing properties. So today, I decided to try one for a listing. Hours, not minutes, were spent! Did I need to do this? Did I want to give it a try? Was it fun? Was it just because it was new? Don't know if I will use this, but at least I did finish. I thought it would be an excellent prop for a stager to use. They could be in a picture frame or used as a novelty gift. Would you use them? And if so, how?
Buyer's agents...please preview or have buyers preview the properties. Ask questions before your scheduled meeting time. Very frustrating when an appointment is made several days ahead, confirmed and then 10 minutes before the scheduled time...a call or text comes in saying we have decided not to see this property.
Why: the buyer just did the numbers and they cannot afford this home.
By this time the house is show ready, the owner has readied the house, taken out the pets, turned on the lights, disappeared and is waiting to be notified when to return with the three sick children. Please drive by the house first.
No problem...I had a scheduled home inspection at noon and the properties were within 10 minutes of each other. I confirmed with the buyer's agent by email and with a follow up call. Asked if she had any questions about the property or needed directions. She had no questions but would let me know if the buyer has any. My home inspection was underway and I left for the 1 o'clock appointment. At 12:58 PM, I receive a text that reads.
"My client doesn't like the neighborhood. Sorry. (12 comments)
