weak closer: Do You Agree?

Recently heard this from someone whose conversations I always enjoy. We each wind up with a few gems after even a short chat. This was the latest one:
'In a weak market, a strong closer will sell more than a weak closer will sell in a strong market.'
This one rings true. You don't hear a successful salesperson complain about a slow market.
