December 13th Buhl Chamber of Commerce will be holding it's annual Night Light Christmas. This years theme is "Christmas Around the World. It will be a full day and evening event. During the day the business will have in store specials and drawings. Ribbon cuttings for Rio Hondo's at noon and Buhl Winkle Vendor's Mall at 2 pm. A craft show and events with a chili feed and entertainment by the Jordan River Band downtown. In the evening will be the night parade. Today I went to the Senior Center for lunch. We have a citizen's commitee formed to find new ways to help fund the money needed for a water project in Buhl. The city had been mandated to clean the aresenic out of our water. This project will cost every household $27.00 more on the water bill. Bringing the total bill to $130.00 per month. We are a small town of 5000 people and not large incomes. Our committee was speaking to the seniors on this project. It's the middle of October and we are having a beautiful snowy weekend. The trees are white and roofs are covered. Last week it was warm and the roses were blooming. I have had several of my clients asking what changes would be made to the Capital Gain Tax in the new bail out plan. I have searched the internet but can't find any information. They are wondering if it will effect the change set to go in place in Jan. If you have any information on this that I could pass along please relpy. I had one of my rual listings broken into this weekend. It is located in the country and set back a long ways from the main road. The owner left in a hurry as he is horse breeder. He was to be gone a few weeks and that turned into months. His land had gotten very over grown with weeds. The price is right and this property has had many showings. buhl: Buhl, Idaho Motorcycle accident

Tonight around 6 there was a serious accident on Main St in Buhl in front of the post office. A small car was making a u-turn and struck a motorcycle. The person on the bike was a young man. Injury to the biker looked to be very serious. Please pray for the family and the driver of the car. This will be a very hard night for all involved.

We have lots of activities happening in Buhl this week.. Thursday Sidewalk Sales and Trout Feed. Buhl is the Trout Capitol of America so the trout will be good and plentiful. Friday is the parade and booths in the park. The carnival will be up and running and the kids will be screaming. Saturday is the tractor pull for the guys. Come and join us in the fun.
