listings: Protecting our listings. - 07/27/08 02:10 PM
I had one of my rual listings broken into this weekend. It is located in the country and set
back a long ways from the main road. The owner left in a hurry as he is horse breeder. He
was to be gone a few weeks and that turned into months. His land had gotten very over
grown with weeds. The price is right and this property has had many showings. I got
a call this weekend that the house had been robbed. They had pulled in a truck and
trailer and wiped him out. They took everything stove, refrigerator, washer … (3 comments)

listings: Yard Sale Marketing - 07/19/08 12:32 PM
Today I went out for my usual Yard Sale viewing. I have always worked yard sales
as one of my summer prospecting tools. I have had great success with this in the
past and have closed several deals from yard sales. Well today was a very good
day I picked up 700,000 CMA for a possible listing, 300,000 listing and a buyer
for my land listing.
I have always believed that face to face is the best prospecting we can do. People
need to see you and feel they know a little about you, I don't believe a letter
