I served in the US Air Force and I retired from the South Dakota Army National Guard in 2010. After retiring I served as a federal officer until I decided to become a Realtor. As a hero myself I have been honored and awarded by my country and community. I joined the Homes for Heroes program for a similar reason that my brother, who is an Army veteran and Home for Heroes Realtor joined. Our father nearly lost his life to a heart attack during a round of golf a few years ago. If it was not for the quick action of an off-duty firefighter who performed CPR on our father, he would not be with us today.
