I have always felt like our military, police, fire fighters, teachers and health care providers hold some of our nation’s most important positions, but are severely undervalued. As a military spouse, it was really a no brainer for me to join Homes for Heroes. I have always wanted to participate in a program like this. I understand the unique difficulties and sacrifices of working an odd schedule or having a spouse that works an odd schedule, or is deployed, and you are constantly moving to a new place every few years.
