mn: Welcome Jeff Anderson, Realtor – Apple Valley, MN - 09/09/13 08:41 AM
I have been in real estate for over 27 years and in that time have had the pleasure of helping thousands buy and sell their home. Some of my accomplishments in real estate are in top 5 in the state for sales, in the top 250 in sales  in the nation for residential real estate, RE/MAX Chairman club and Minnesota Super-Agent award.

What has been even more rewarding is the work I do to help veterans. I am one of the founders of Tee it up for the Troops (www.teeitupforthetroops.org), a past president and current Board member and we … (0 comments)

mn: Homes for Heroes | John Squier - 07/21/11 06:33 AM

John Squier, the newest Affiliate of Homes for Heroes, is a real go-getter. I can’t think of a better representative for the zip codes that engulf the Homes for Heroes corporate offices. He is a fantastic realtor to be sure, but his philanthropic pursuits are what really attracted him to our program. Said John, “Homes for Heroes is an easy concept for me to embrace. Whenever I can give back to those great men and women who give so much, so selflessly, to all of us, I like to get involved. With my chosen career that hasn’t always been the … (0 comments)

mn: An address can be just as important as the house itself. - 06/01/09 09:44 AM
I saw an article the other day about how a town changed the name of a street because the street name was causing problems for the residents. Deliveries were not being made, and there were numerous indecent exposures going on at all times of day. No, don't worry, we at Homes for Heroes have not run into any problems. So that must have you asking yourselves, how could a street name cause that much grief? Is it a new road? Nope. That would be too easy. Such as "Ruby Tuesday Dr." named after one of the Rolling Stones songs. But in … (1 comments)

mn: What do old drinking buddies do? They get HFH. - 03/27/09 09:38 AM
A few years back a Homes for Heroes founder was talking to an old friend. Old drinking buddies as they describe the relationship. They were discussing the Homes for Heroes program. Mark, being one of the founders, was plying his wares, showing his old friend how this program works and how it helps our Heroes with substantial savings. The old friend, Paul, listened, liked what he heard but wanted some time to think about it. Well he did and we are glad with the decision he came to. Paul got HFH.

mn: Higher Rates Probable?? Buyers sitting on Fence? - 02/18/09 04:11 AM
You may want to forward this to your buyers who are holding off for lower rates because the media has led them to believe rates will continue to fall.  There is plenty of economic data that suggests that rates may increase.  To summarize the article below, either the plan works, capital spending increases (which is inflationary) and rates increase, or the plan fails and the government has to print more money or borrow more money which would also lead to higher rates.

No time like the present to act now.

The economic stimulus package, a $787 billion … (0 comments)
