1. The lawn should be properly mowed, and fertilization should be considered in many cases. Curbs, sidewalks, and driveways (concrete only as black top driveways can crack and weaked from edging as they do not have the smooth edges for proper edging) should be edged using a steel-blade edger.

Ok if that's not convincing...
These Hybiscus flowers cover my hand with no problem (in the picture my finger tips are holding the stem in the middle... and I am 6'6 250 lbs, my hands aren't exactly tiny) as they range from 6-12" in diameter.... YES UP TO 12 INCHES ACROSS and they can even grow 6' tall with dozens of these giant blooms. There are also a smaller 3-4' tall variation with blooms almost as large!
