Why have a home inspection on a "totally" renovated house? After all, everything is new and under warranty, right? Well, not so fast! A couple of years ago, I had a client who fell in love with a place that was represented as being New! New! New! And he questioned the need for a home inspection. It was an older home with great bones that had recently been purchased from an estate and, from the looks of things, pretty thoroughly renovated.
