Why have a home inspection on a "totally" renovated house?  After all, everything is new and under warranty, right?  
Well, not so fast!
A couple of years ago, I had a client who fell in love with a place that was represented as being New! New! New! And he questioned the need for a home inspection.
It was an older home with great bones that had recently been purchased from an estate and, from the looks of things, pretty thoroughly renovated.  But at my (and the buyer's dad's) insistence, we included a home inspection contingency in the offer.
