Dear Alicia,
During the holiday season, I attended several social events.  Some events were business related, and some were neighborhood or family gatherings.  'The season' started off in October, and I must confess that my 'Thank You' notes have not yet been written,sent or otherwise expressed.
I always bring the host and hostess a little gift for them to enjoy after the party.  Should I expect a thank you note from my hosts for my generosity?   If they haven't sent me a thank you note, should I send them a thank you note?  Could I just send out an email thanking … (3 comments)

Just days ago, our homes were the epicenter of good taste, and refinement.  Throughout the land voices young and old decried:
'The best looking holiday decorations - EVER!'
 
Yesterday, I couldn't wait to get rid of all that junk!  Goodbye Poinsettia, goodbye Christmas Cactus (I never really liked the christmas cactus anyway).  Hello Narcissus, Hello Paperwhite, see you next week Jonquils!
Goodbye tabletop clutter, goodbye mantle decor, goodbye glitter, goodbye red bows, goodbye...... well, any RED accents! Could someone invent VISINE-FOR-THE-HOUSE?  Honestly, I really just need to get the red out!
