We are past the mid-year elections and some people are happy with the results and others probably not so much.  Regardless whether you voted Republican, Democrat, Tea Party, Independent = what matters is you voted!
There are those who chose not to vote because they did not think it mattered or they just didn't care!  I have not missed an election in many years.  I believe it is such an important priviledge  to vote I would not dare not vote.  I use to take my children into the voting booth with me so they always knew when they were old enough … (0 comments)

After a lot of hours, trips all over the state to take classes and mucho dinero - I received approval for my CIPS designation.  I am so excited. 
I heard about this designation when I first got into real estate almost 5 years ago.  I read an article in Realtor Magazine about international sales.  I asked my broker at the time and she had never heard of it.

There is a lot to be said about living in a smaller town and commuting to the city.  Spring Hill, Brooksville and Weeki Wachee are all about 30 - 45 minutes to the Tampa airport and to Tampa and St. Petersburg.  We are 1 1/2 hours to Disney.   An easy commute to Tampa via the Suncoast Parkway and a straight shot to Orlando via Cortez Blvd (SR 50).
We have restaurants franchises and locally owned, shopping, churches and cultural activities.  We have small theater here and some of the shows are quite good and very affordable.

This is more of a question than a blog on VA's.  We have not had much luck with assistants.  We are wondering if we are asking to much.  This last assistant worked for another group in our office but we wonder what she did for them.  We have asked her on several occasions to tell us what she does on a daily basis.  What are you working on?  She gave us a copy of her resume.  That has left us a bit frustrated.

We have been looking forward to this for a while.  We have now had some good years.  People are getting off the fence and buying.  We are seeing incredible deals.  We listen to the "powers that be" and one tells us we are at the bottom and someone else says not yet.  Who knows, I just know we are very busy.  Our sales are in the $100,000 - $200,000 range.  That's ok if you sell enough, you still make some money.  I am not happy with the short sales.  They take such a long time and who knows if they will even … (2 comments)
