CCA Meeting on April 26 The Clarksburg Community Association will meet at the Hyattstown Fire Department on April 26. The event begins at 6:30 with activities for families and children, including a tour of the fire station. At 7:00 p.m. the CCA will meet to discuss changes proposed by the county executive for staffing at the Hyattstown Fire Department. Also on the agenda is a proposed emergency medical services transport fee, emergency preparedness, updates on Clarksburg development, and other business.

Residents of Clarksburg, Maryland who suffer from a heart attack will now have access to an automated external defibrillator (AED) being donated to the community by Adventist HealthCare. The device, worth $1500, is to be presented to the Clarksburg Civic Association at their meeting this evening at 7:30. The meeting will be held at the Ombudsman's Office at 23201 Stringtown Road (in the Highlands Shopping Center at the corner of Route 355 and Stringtown Road), if you'd like to attend.
