The art of marketing is an forever changing in the world.  The one thing that hasn't changed is no matter what magazine or website you look at it is directed for a specific purpose (which is great).  Problem is when you ask a person to co-market with you on something that is tailored for your business the likeliness of them getting business is pretty low.  Some of these top websites or even magazines should fill that void with coming up with a new innovative ways of getting business in the door for both parties involved.  Especially with it being 92% of transactions … (5 comments)

marketing: No time to waste - 08/12/09 01:23 AM
Times have definitely changed and there are still so many people in the Real Estate business that are waiting for business to come to them.  You sit there and watch them complain that they don't have any business yet they aren't doing anything to better the situation.   Todays market you not only need to pound the pavement but you also need to have a web presence.  92% of the transactions that are started originate from being on the web.  That is just insane to let something like that go unnoticed.
This is just my food for thought this morning.

marketing: The Market - 08/11/08 05:35 AM
There is always the good and the bad.  The bad thing about this market is just the way we have to work harder for each deal to get it to go through.  The good thing is this causes more creative thinking on all of our parts in the real estate industry to gain and capture more clients.  It is a wonderful thing what the mind can do once tested.  Let them ideas flow. . . .  You never know which one you may throw against the wall and may stick.

Have a great week!

marketing: Cheap Way To Market - 07/28/08 05:09 AM
I know everyone has all these number of ways to market themselves and hope that it pays off weither it is flyers or handshakes.  But I think one of the simplest ways to market is simply right in front of you each and everytime you drive to a store or an event.
When you see out of State license plates simply write on your business card "Welcome to "State"! Cheap easy and just costs you a business card and ink from your pen.

Definately a cheap way of marketing yourself and prospecting.
Can it get any simpler than that?
