Have you been waiting for an update about the Georgia Tax Credit for homebuyers?
Wait no more, here is the latest.
Yesterday evening while attending a business event, I was able to speak directly to Senator Chip Pearson about it. I asked him why the Governor had not signed the bill into law yet. He said that Governor Purdue is waiting for the April Revenue Figures to come in. Once he can see what the numbers are, he will begin to sign the bills that passed in the order of importance. Are you like me? Do you get tired of trying to read through all the media hoopla to figure out the real bottom line? Does it feel like deciphering code? I'm not dumb, just lazy sometimes I guess. I'd like to read about things like the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac takeover in terms that are simple to understand and find out quickly what all this means to me.

I attended a meeting last week and heard it from a pretty reliable authority that all the prophets of doom and gloom are wrong! Hopefully, this is not a suprise to you.I love listening to people speak who concentrate on the postive, and not the negative side of things. For example I learned that:98.8% of homeowners pay their mortgage payment ON TIME. Another 1% pay late, but still make the payment.
