For one midsummer's night each year, these exquisitely scented flowers open as night falls...... then closes forever with the first rays of the morning sun.

I found this beauty walking at night with my dog... I came back the next day with my camera to make some great shots......Oh NO! Blooms were gone...I was very sad that I missed it. Little I knew that this is one of the most unusual plants: night-blooming cereus( =cactus). When I walked again at night with Fifi, I noticed new blooms! This time i had my Iphone with me:) There were only few blooms left. But I'm glad I had another chance. These huge flowers are so beautiful, aren't they? Tip: Pack a picnic bag and have a nice lunch with your date or family under one of the large trees or under a cherry tree.
