As I think about Networking, I look at stacks of cards, attempting to put faces to their names.  
What is it that makes one memorable in networking?  I think it's the ED Principle....
What, you say, is the ED Principle?  Well, have you ever met someone who is fascinating to listen to?  They are well read, well traveled, well, just well EVERYTHING!  They're so very interesting.  Yet, did they make an impression?

Candy Bar Investing - This morning I spoke in my LeTip Networking Group.  Imagine, I had 6 minutes to give a presentation, while everyone was eating breakfast, writing up tips and talking to each other.  So, this morning, to get their attention, I put candy bars on the chairs, along with my ideal client checklist.

There are a Million places to network in Orange County.  OK, Maybe not a million. And the number is great.
 
Any day of the week , there are 50 different activities.  I just looked at InTheCalendar.com.  There are 31 activities TODAY.  Of course, the largest networking activity is RBN - The Relationship Building Network.  They typically have over 100 in attendance. 
If you check out meetup.com; it's not just for hiking events.  I put "Networking" in the search box; there are 10 pages, 20 per page of opportunities to meet others.  You've got the BNi's, Heartlink, the 4 You networks, … (4 comments)
