self care: You are invited to take a Refreshing Walk near the Boise River! - 06/30/08 10:23 AM
I thought it would be a great idea to take some pictures on our family week around our beautiful neighborhood.  Thankfulness and gratitude swell in our hearts as we take this family walk.  Walking is a great time to catch up with uninterrupted family talk, questions and good old fashioned fun.  Of course the side benefit is also getting healthier with each walk we take.
The story of our house was such a miraculous event that I never tire of walking up with thankfulness for our home and the beautiful neighborhood we live in.  I looked at 150 homes before we … (6 comments)

self care: Take Time Out to Smell the Roses, when you Travel! - 05/17/08 05:02 AM
We have been traveling across the country.  Where do I begin to share some of the most amazing experiences we had?   We went to the National We Make Color Easy Conference in Atlanta, GA.

self care: Simplicity! Part 2 - 04/20/08 07:11 AM
If you have too much stuff, Peter Walsh, a professional organizer on Oprah, gave a great tip.  Start small. with going through and throw away one bag of trash per day and give away one bag of stuff to your local thrift store.  By the end of the week you will have purged 14 bags of stuff out of your home.  Wow, that is doable!
Another thing you can do is look at your life and take stock of the activities you are doing. In order to go up, you need to give up.  Don't grab and get.  Release and receive.
