Nationally, home sales tumbled in December so I was happy and surprised to see the "SOLD" signs atop the "FOR SALE" signs in my neighborhood. Each of these homes has been occupied by the same owners for years and years so it looks like the neighborhood is starting to turn. The sellers are most likely opting for smaller homes, less maintenance and one level. These well constructed houses were built for growing families, they are priced in the $300,000 range, and have three or more bedrooms.
