Ask 5 people what they consider a luxury home to be and you'll most likely get 5 answers. Price tag alone does not by definition make a home luxurious. Take for example a home that's located right on the outskirts of downtown. The home may be a shanty, but because it is so close to downtown, the land value may be very high.
