freehold: Downtown Boro

I went with some co-workers to downtown Freehold. We were trying to get donations for a charity event we are having this Thursday to benefit some local charities. Most places were nice enough to offer something for us to put in the baskets. I know how hard it is this time of year as many fund-raisers are going on and everyones hand is out. There are many great restaurants Downtown,as well as Salons,Stores and of course the Carnegie Library and the Hall of Records.
Parking is easy if you turn into the market yard parking area . There is even more parking across (0 comments)
freehold: Wellness Center in Freehold

I recently was able to check out the new wellness center attached to Centra State Hospital in Freehold Township. My mother is a member and was given a two week pass that she let me use . I have to say--IT WAS REALLY AWESOME! I am not usually a fan of gyms, but this place had something for everyone. Treadmills and ellipticals as far as the eye could see (with T.V.s you could plug your own headphones into). Tons of great classes , like boxing ,Pilate's,yoga,etc.etc.etc. The facilities were clean and well kept, plenty of space to move around,and some really nice (0 comments)
I haven't always been here. I was born in New York, Rochester to be exact. Being small, I do not remember much, but most of the pictures have snow, lots of snow.
I guess my parents got sick of the snow. They picked us up and we invaded my grandparent's house in Queens, (so happy they must have been with 5 small children). I rocked on the concrete playground of PS197 (public school) where I walked uphill both ways, 2 miles, in the rain. No really, my mom forgot to pick us up during a storm, so the (20 comments)
