Attention First Time Home Buyers - your time is running out for the $8,000 tax credit. You must be closed on your new home no later than November 30, 2009 in order to qualify for the tax credit that is currently in place. It is currently in the governments hands to decide whether to extend this credit or not but as of today that has not been determined, so don't wait depending on the government. This is a great time for First Time Home Buyers to be out pursuing their dream of owning their own home. Interest rates are low and there is the added bonus of the Tax Credit of up to $8,000 if you purchase a home before November 1, 2009. This is called a first time home buyer credit but it also applies if you have not owned a home in the last 3 years.
