There are a lot of reasons real estate agents pursue professional designations and most of these reasons provide great value to the agent professionally and educationally, while greatly helping them serve the public better as well. As members of an ever evlolving industry it's important that we immerse ourselves in continuing education, and most real estate commissions require it for us to maintain licensure. As Realtors or real estate agents, we are often marketed to companies who will pay for a speaker to come in and train on a topic, and we can pay $10 to go to this breakfast or lunch and gain valuable information that counts towards our Real Estate Commissions required continuing education requirements. Continuing education is so important as a realtor in an ever changing profession.
