As I was getting caught up on some web browsing, I came across the new article on RIS MEDIA's site.  Normally, I like to chastise them for putting seemingly self serving aditorials (yes I just made that up, I'm not sure if someone else has claim to it either).
They just posted a great article about Google and a little bit of history.  Finally, it poses a great question,
"Is technology empowering the real estate agent to provide a better, more professional service, or is it empowering the seller to significantly reduce or maybe even remove the role of the listing agent … (2 comments)

Gone are the days that Realtors are overlooked as a segment of the population.  With it being as easy as driving to walmart to get your real estate license (not literally) it's no wonder that marketeers are picking on us as a group to sell to.  Someone said it best when they said, that a salesman is the worlds best customer.
RIS Media, in what looks like another paid article has highlighted a blogging service that is paid for.  The highlight of this is that it seems to have a backend Contact Manager as well as the ability to set up … (0 comments)

ris media: RIS Article - Rehash of Old Truth - Consumers are online ?! - 06/13/07 01:41 AM
RIS just published this breaking news, Consumers are online.   Now take a moment to breathe in and let that sink in.  How could this have happened?  In a world where more and more agents have not just one website, but multiple websites, blogs, columns, forum posts, online social networking groups, etc, how could the consumer get online while we weren't looking? 
A better question, is how is that RIS Media is even able to exist (lame sponsored articles aside).   I think it's laughable and a bit ironic that RIS posted an article about online consumers.  We all know that if someone wants … (17 comments)
