Canadian Real Estate Agent Susan Emo wrote a great response to a common question asked of prospective buyers. Bottom line: If you're represented by an agent, then that agent needs to be present from start to finish. I get asked that question almost as much as I ask it of them! So many potential Buyers feel the need to contact the Listing Agent themselves and, if the Realtor is doing the job correctly, the first question needs to be "What is the name of the Realtor you're currently working with?" Showing Merrick Homes to Real Estate Buyers on a Sunday Sometimes, when you've been trying to concentrate on listings and, therefore, working with sellers, you forget how much fun it can also be to work with buyers, for a very welcomed change of pace. Listings are great for bringing out my creative side but showing homes is important for balance, so I don't forget how the other side of the real estate transaction - the searching and filtering process - also works.
